i’ve been here a week plus, living in the city of lights. but like anyone else, i’m just living, simply living. though the ‘scene’ has very much changed, the ‘protagonist’ remains the same. i’m experiencing and will continue to experience life’s joys, adventures and the necessity of receiving grace as i set up residence here– the only change is that now i am just surrounded by a famed iron tower and unyielding exchange rates (god bless our reserves). thus, the histoire of this new chapter begins, and is being told via the eyes of that same protagonist. but how much will her and my view change because she and i are here, in ‘gay paris?’ will she fulfill the hopes of the echoing goodbye wisdoms, ‘it will surely be a life-changing experience’ or will it, instead, be a told as just another chapter in charity rose’s story…a chapter very important and very memorable, but a chapter all the same?
